
Chocolate Bombe
Chill your mold
Soak 1-1/2 tsp gelatin in 1 cup cold water
Stir together:
- 1 cup milk
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 2-4 Tbsp cocoa
in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Dissolve the gelatin in the mixture and cool.
Add 1 tsp vanilla and chill until just about set.
Beat 3 cups of whipping cream until soft peaks form,
and fold lightly into the gelatin mixture.
Put the mix in the mold, and put in in the freezer
at least 6 hours. Set on top of other frozen items
not on the shelf.
Will not keep over one day.
Remove from the freezer about 1/2 hour before serving,
and leave in the mold until serving.
