ASIAN-MARINATED FLANK STEAK S SERVINGS 1 cup soy sauce 1 cup sake 1/2 cup sugar 1 large bunch fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped (about 1-1/2 cups) 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled, cut into thick slices 4 garlic cloves 1-1/4 teaspoons dried crushed red pepper 2 1-pound flank steaks Combine first 7 ingredients in processor; blend until pureed. Pour marinade into large heavy-duty freezer bag. Add flank steaks to marinade in bag and seal. Refrigerate at least 4 hours and up to 1 day, turning bag occasionally. Prepare barbecue (medium heat). Remove flank steaks from marinade. Grill flank steaks to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium. Serve immediately.
